Dave McLaughlin, CEO-Founder-Vsnap

I love to build teams to pursue ambitious projects. I take a leading position in shaping the vision and the goals for the venture, then recruiting and leading the team that will go out and bring that narrative to life. I’ve done this most recently as a Co-Founder of Fig Card, a mobile payments startup acquired in April 2011 by eBay. Previously, I’ve done this in film, government, and the non-profit space. Now I’m TOTALLY FIRED UP to do it again with Vsnap, helping people feel closer and more connected by pairing the ease of texting with the robustness of video.


Brent Grinna, Founder -Evertrue

EverTrue helps schools and other non-profit fundraising organizations better track and engage donors over time. We support colleges like Brown University and prep schools like Phillips Andover and Middlesex School.

EverTrue’s cloud-based products are designed for the desktop, iPhone, Android and mobile web.


Gus Weber, Entrepreneur in Residence- Polaris Venture Partners

Mr. Gus Weber serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Polaris Venture Partners, Inc. Mr. Weber was a Community Relations & Business Development Manager at Microsoft. Mr. Weber was responsible for Microsoft’s engagement and interactions with the local Boston and technical communities.



Scott Yaphe, General Partner – ABS Ventures

Scott joined ABS Ventures in 2000 and invests in software, business services and media companies. Before joining ABS Ventures, he was Director of Corporate Development at Saraide, a wireless software provider acquired by Infospace. Prior to that, Scott was a management consultant with A.T. Kearney where he focused on the technology and communications sectors. Scott has presented at many leading venture capital events. He received his Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and MBA from Harvard Business School.

Yousuf Khan, CIO-Hult International Business School

Yousuf Khan is the Chief Information Officer for Hult International Business School and leads the technology and innovation change across Hult’s campuses in Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai and Shanghai. In 2011, Khan led one the largest and comprehensive deployments of iPads in higher education globally across Hult. This was seen as a major transformational change of the school and led the way for more innovation to be brought into the classroom for Hult’s students totalling over 2000.

Khan has worked in management consulting as well as technology and telecoms at global level with.  Prior to joining Hult,  Khan worked for EF Education First, the worlds largest private education provider,  where he was responsible for Global IT infrastructure and supply chain management. He began his career as a project manager for venture backed and helped establish their IT operations. He is passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation in education advising a number of companies from operations, product and fund raising.  Khan earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Kings College London.


Mark Nemec, President & CEO- Eduventures

President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Nemec joined Eduventures in 2011, coming to the organization from Forrester Research’s executive team. Mark brings to Eduventures extensive leadership experience and research and advisory expertise, along with a passion for higher education. He is responsible for creating value for clients and shareholders through the strategic guidance and growth of the company.


Dan Lammot, Co- Founder- Roundcorner & Roundcause

Dan is responsible for roundCorner’s strategic direction and leads the Company’s professional services and product development efforts. Prior to founding roundCorner, Dan co-founded OKERE, INC where he was personally responsible for the delivery of 40,000+ licenses in over 65 countries.



Colin Barceloux, Founder & VP of Business Development – BookRenter

Colin Barceloux is the Founder of, a leading textbook rental company in Silicon Valley. Colin founded the company to address the high cost of educational materials and their impact on the accessibility of higher education. To date the company has saved students more than a hundred million dollars on their textbooks. Through BookRenter’s partnerships with college stores, students on more than 560 campuses nationwide can rent directly from their college stores – providing convenience and sustainable local campus commerce.


Tom Rose, Co-Founder – Testive

I work to make the world a better place through the implementation of private sector education at for-profit companies such as HubSpot, AuthorsGlobe and ManhattanGMAT.

I have worked as an educator of some kind for more than 10 years at such institutions as Duke, MIT, and Walter Reed Army Institute of Research.

As the Boston campus Dean, Dr. Henrik Tötterman is a member of the leadership team at Hult International Business School, the first global business school with campuses in Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai, and Shanghai. Before moving to Boston, Henrik worked several years at Hanken School of Economics in Finland, as researcher, Assistant Professor, and MBADirector.



Chad Munro, Owner-Halifax Biomedical

Mr. Munro founded HALIFAX BIOMEDICAL INC. in October 2004 bringing experience in management, medical device manufacturing, medical device development and product development methodologies, IP evaluation and protection strategies, as well as a Masters in Biomedical Engineering focusing on Roentgen Stereophotogrammetric Analysis of Orthopedic implants. As President and CEO of HALIFAX BIOMEDICAL INC. Mr. Munro covers many roles including company operations, customer relations, and also oversees development, IP protection, and contract research.
